Rare Antique Boston & Sandwich Glass White Wine Decanter. Part of the Ruby Red Vintage Grape Series pattern of 1880. Ruby Red Stained over clear glass with acid etched Leaves and Ground Polished Grapes which was unique to this series produced between 1880 and 1887 by the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company when they were competing with the bohemian market in the late 19th Century. Measures 14.5 tall with stopper. This is the "White Wine" Decanter, sized for: Rhines, white chablis, chardonnay, White Cabs , light rose wines, etc. Boston Sandwich also made a red wine decanter, and liquor decanters in same Vintage Grape pattern, but in different bottle shape styles.
