6 Vintage Holmegaard Crystal Green White Wine Glasses Jacob Bang 1937. This beautiful set of 6 vintage Danish glasses is in very good condition. The pretty glasses were designed for Holmegaard Glassworks, Denmark, in 1937 by iconic designer Jacob Bang. They were designed for white wine and are in the design called Ejby. As a white wine glass they were made from green glass, traditional in Scandinavian and some Eurropean countries. The usual patterning for this design has a smooth bowl with the etched design below the rim and a clear and smooth stem. This set is a variation to the design with added cut panels to the base of the bowls. As such they are a more elusive pattern but can still be seen catalogued at the Danish website for Holmegaard designs; hardernet. There is no damage and no clouding.
The glasses are around 122 mm tall and 74mm across the rims. Please note this item is original and not a copy or modern day reproduction.
