A set of 6 authentic 18th century. Dessert wine, sherry or port glass. These glasses were used in 18th century upper class households and sophisticated inn's. Form: a plain, funel bowl on a stem with 2 colars / knops. Plain foot, some with a rough pontil, some with a polished-out pontil.

The charm is that you can see all kinds of imperfections in the glass making techniques of those times. Because fully handmade, not one is exactly the same as the other. They differ slightly in form, height and color.

This lot can be described as a marriage. Heights: circa 11 cm / circa 4.3 inch. Weight 6 together: 595 gr. Condition : used, no cracks, no restoration, clear glass, no residue, authentic signs of age.

One has a flea-bit to the rim, one has some more scratches. The sale price is for the 6 together.
