RETIRED Set of 4 AJKA Crystal Cut ARABELLA Stemmed Wine Hock Glasses 8.25 Mint
These are Ajka crystal wine hock goblets in the Arabella pattern. Ajka Arabella wine glasses are vintage and were primarily manufactured in Hungary during the mid-to-late 20th century, typically between the 1960s and 1970s. Ajka Crystal (often associated with Caesar Crystal) crafted these glasses using the traditional "cut-to-clear" method, meaning the colored exterior glass is hand-cut to reveal the clear crystal base underneath. The retired Arabella pattern features intricate crisscross cuts on the bowl, a detailed cut stem, and a starburst design on the foot. Design: Each glass features a vibrant, colored bowl-specifically emerald green, cobalt blue, ruby red, and amethyst purple-that is intricately cut back to clear glass.
Origin & Quality: These are handmade in Hungary from 24% lead crystal. Dimensions: The glasses typically measure approximately 8 to 8.5 inches in height.
