1 Vintage Orrefors Karolina Wine Decanter High Quality Cut Crystal (2 available)

This lovely piece is in excellent condition. The decanter is made from a very high quality crystal that has been hand cut with precision. Made by Orrefors it is in the design called Karolina. It features a timeless cross cut design, easy to match with both vintage and modern glass ware.

First released in 1938 it has remained in production to this day, but has had minor variations through out time. This particular decanter would date to around 1950, discernible by the rounded top to the decanter as opposed to the current hexagonal shape. The piece is free of damage with no chips, cracks, staining or clouding. Because of the age of the piece, the underside of the base is quite scratched from usage, so any signing to the glass is not visible. The decanter is 258 mm tall and approximately 125mm in diameter at the widest point. The piece holds 650mls comfortably. The decanter is heavy and has the brilliance, sparkle and clarity one would expect from the highest quality crystal. We currently have a pair available.
