5 Vntg 9oz Glass Wine Goblets GOLD PLATE, RED CRYSTALS/CUT LEAVES/SCROLLS GERMAN
Glass Wine Goblets that have. Cups and green glass feet with. Around the top of the green graduated ring stem is a UNIQUE 1 wide band that has a ring next to the gold plated cup and a gold ring below it, but inside are 4 RAISED 3 dimensional GOLD PLATED CIRCLES WHICH RESEMBLE GRAPES and this is on each glass!
The green foot on each one has graduated raised rings and also has a more than 1/8 wide gold ring on the base of the foot. Each glass measures a LARGE 5 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" at the widest part, 3" diameter at the mouth and 3 3/8" diameter at the foot. These GORGEOUS glasses were made in GERMANY and I know for sure as my folks brought them back from there! They stayed in their china cabinet for many, many years and always looked FANTASTIC! I don't recall them using them.
They are in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or scratches and only one raised gold plate grape top of foot where the artist missed a bit and same area on another that has a line in the glass done when made. These are not that noticeable. One of the gold rings on one of the feet is missing a little gold plate and it can be seen in 3rd from last photo. It may have been made that way too. What a WONDERFUL set to serve your guests with or just DRESS UP YOUR OWN CHINA CABINET!
