8 Vintage Danish Holmegaard Egholm Red Wine Glasses Chister Holmgren. This beautiful and elegant set of 8 is in very good condition. These are in a design called Egholm designed by Christer Holmgren for Holmegaard/Kastrup Glassworks, Denmark in 1967 and produced for a few years until 1973. The design was issued in a series and this particular glass was produced as a red wine glass.
The crystal is finely cut with two rows of facet cuts to the base of the bowl. The stem and foot are plain. The design is elegant and streamlined. There are no faults with the glasses, no chips cracks or clouding.
The glasses are around 178mm tall and 54mm across the rims. The bowls measure around 94mm in length.
