Vintage Set of Eight Bohemian Hock Glasses Cut To Clear Multi Coloured c 1960s

Set of Eight Cut to Clear Crystal Bohemian Hock Wine Glasses Multi Coloured. Here we have a superb set of eight very good quality crystal hock wine glasses probably made in Germany and with cut to clear decoration. The tall, elegant glasses are approx 8 inches high although vary very slightly as they are hand blown items with some bases having a wide diameter than others. They have long faceted cut stems and round bowls in a variety of colours.

There are three green, two orange, one cobalt blue, one ruby red and one amethyst. All have been skilfully cut through to the clear glass in an attractive design featuring thumb cuts and stars. We would date them to around the late 1950s / 60s. Together the glasses weigh 1650 g and they are in excellent condition with only one glass, an orange one, having a very minor chip inside the rim. The glasses give a good ring when tapped with the finger and are a lovely set for display and use. Please see my other glassware also listed for sale this week, including more drinking glasses.
