6 Vintage Rowland Ward Crystal Etched Animals Wine Beer Glasses Deer Fox Bird

Up for your consi deration is this set of hand blown and hand etched Crystal Glasses. Perfect for Champagne, Wine or Beer.

Each of the six glasses has a different animal etched on it: Fox, Deer, Buck, Duck, Pheasant and not sure what the last bird is. These are very thin glasses and sound fabulous when ringed or tapped. (they sing as my dad always said). 6 5/8" tall x 3" wide and hold 10 - 12 ounces. My parents are retired and downsizing. These were used as beer glasses for my dad, he has not used them for over 40 years, they have been carefully stored and now came to me. I hate to part with them but I will never use them. They need to go to a good home!

About my family: My father joined the military in 1950, we as a family traveled extensively all over the world until he retired in 1978. He then went on to be a GIA Certified Gemologist and worked as a consultant and appraiser for many years.

He has had many articles in gemology magazines and books. He then retired from that profession in 1994. He then went on to be a gemology instructor for a few years at our local community and technical collage until 1997. My parents then moved into a retirement community and he was the president of their Cooperative for 15 years until he was diagnosed with dementia.
