6x antique 18th C crystal Wine Glass, ca. 1770, gilt rim and base & faceted cut

Very elegant, antique, authentic 18th century. Fully hand made: pipe blown and hand cut. Crystal glass, diamond faceted cut stem. The diamond cutting on the stem.

Is bridged onto the base of the ogee shaped bowl, by means of a row of hexagonal cuts. And carried up to the rim of the bowl by a series of vertical flutes.

The bowl has a gilt rim. The base has a gilt circular decoration. They have a plain foot without pontil. Heights circa 15,5 cm / 6.1 inch.

Because they are handmade, they can differ slightly in height, weight, size and cutting. The foot diameters are between 6,7 and 7,6 cm - perfectly normal and a sign of authenticity. This size was meant for wine, the cuppa / bowl seems small for modern taste. But is perfectly normal for that time, now it would be great for port or dessert wine.
