8 Spectacular Vintage Rock Sharpe Fancy Cut Wine Glasses Water Goblets 1008-3. Wow, some of the prettiest, most sparkly vintage glasses I've ever come across, and a nice large set, too! These heirloom-worthy circa 1940 Rock Sharpe goblets are tall, at 8 inches, and have a fancy-cut bowl, all clear cut with no etch, so it's all sparkle! The cut is of three flowers, one facing and two profile, with entwined stems and foliage cuts, under an arch with vertical lines like paneling, separated by crosshatched diamonds.
This pattern repeats around the bowl. The stem has a large diamond-shaped "gemstone" above a faceted-textured lower part, and even the foot has foliage cuts.Imagine the holiday table you could set with these! Very rare and hard to find. These are the water glass size of the pattern if you are matching a set; they would serve just as well as wine glasses on their own. Excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks, they've been well kept. Possible slight marks of previous use.
