Antique glas 19th C faceted crystal Wine Sherry Port Decanter & 4 Glasses

An elegant, authentic antique, 19th century, crystal. White wine, sherry or port decanter, with 4 glasses. The decanter is made circa 1820, the glasses might be slightly younger, circa 1860. These circa 150 year old decanter and glasses are fully handmade. Blown on the pipe, pulled and hand formed with wooden tools, hand cut and hand polished.

They all have a polished-out pontil. The decanter has 10 facets at the lower part and 10 at the higher part of the body. It has it's original stopper and the stopper is hexagonal shaped - 6 sided. The glasses have 9 facets from half way the funel shaped cuppa / bowl, all the way down to the foot. Condition glasses: no cracks, no chips, no restoration, some signs of use/scratching to the bottom/downside of the foot.

Condition decanter: no cracks, no restoration, slight sings of use to the base, very slight residue in the bottom part. The stopper fits perfect, it has 1 small chip at the top and several to the downside. Decanter height: 34,2 cm / ca.

Glasses height: circa 13 cm / 5.1 inch. Weight together: circa 1380 gr.
