Here we have stunning vintage "art glass" crystal stemware from the legendary French crystal master maker Baccarat in their iconic pattern Malmaison , which was discontinued after approximately a century of production, beginning in 1910. We have several dozens of tall wine goblets and extra-tall water goblets from an estate collection of varying vintage, so we have divided them into separate listings by their approximate heights. As with all stemware produced over a long period of time, sizes will vary slightly between those produced in the early decades of the production run, and those produced in later decades, even when all are considered the same piece, as with our goblets. The differences can be minute but may matter to some, so we have listed them separately.
All of the stems available in this listing are the largest type of Goblet made in Malmaison , the Water Goblet, and they measure approximately. 8" in height (somewhere between 7 15/16" and 8 1/16). 3 5/8" in diameter (somewhere between 3 10/16" and 3 11/16). We're here to help! In our professional opinion, these goblets are in excellent to excellent-plus, vintage condition. They are very clean and fresh, and bright, shiny and sparkly, with no chips of any size, cracks of any size, stains, cloudiness, or hard water marks. They may have a few very light tiny surface scratches, typical of careful use, but none that are deep, thick or in any way eye-catching. We double-box and use whatever materials necessary to ensure that fragile treasures survive the absolute worst shippers can throw at them.The rate shown in this listing is for one goblet. We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report.
