Hawkes York Pre WW2 Crystal Champagne/Sherbert 10 Glasses STEM 6027

For your consideration we are offering A Set of 10 ABP Hawkes champagne/sherbert Glasses, stem # 6027 Cut Crystal Glass Champagne/sherbert Regal Square Base from the early to mid 20th century. Very light surface scratches and other signs of light wear commensurate with age. P lease see our many photos for details.

This is for a set of 10 perfect stemware, when I took the first picture you will see 11 stemware, however I noticed a tiny flea bite on the rim and took it out of the set. Elegant, simple, cut-crystal shapes circle the glasses and cast beautiful, overlapping shadows onto the square base. High-quality Hawkes heavy cut crystal cocktail glasses manufactured during the period from 1900 to 1940. To see the Hawkes mark etched on the base of the glass, hold the glass up to light above a dark background.

Made in Corning, New York, the York pattern has criss-cross, wedge and dot cuts on the bowl with the notched edge 6027 stem, Pa ttern. York wine glasses have the acid-etched HAWKES script mark on the base. Each piece of HAWKES crystal is unique. Slight variations of weight and sometimes height are the sign that each piece is truly handcrafted. Es have the acid-etched HAWKES script mark on the base.
