Ultra Rare Baccarat Swirl Rose Tiente Rubina Amberina Pitcher Wine Decanter 10T

For your consideration is an Ultra Rare Baccarat France Baccarat Glass Swirl Pattern Wine Decanter with Matching Stopper. It was made in their. Rose Tiente aka Amberina, aka Rubina colored glass. The neck was cut about half way around with six faces.

It was also cut where the neck sits on the bottle. The handle is clear crystal and was applied after it had been re-fired to bring out the ruby color from the gold in the glass.

The pontil scar that would be on the base was completely ground leaving it smooth and concave. It was made in four parts with three (bottle, neck, handle) put together and the fourth being the stopper. The color goes from dark cranberry at the top to peach to nearly clear on the very center of the ground bottom. There is minor wear to the gold accents, most apparent on the top of the handle, and a small nick on the bottom of the stopper.
